Luke 15 - The Prodigal Son
Description:
In this week's episode, pastors Katie, Matt, and Eric discuss Jesus' parable of The Prodigal Son. The younger son left home because he felt something was missing. Have you ever experienced a season where you felt restless—like there had to be something more? How did that shape your choices?
When the younger son lost everything, he finally saw his need for the Father. Have you ever had a moment where life didn’t go as planned, and it led you to see God in a new way? How does the Gospel shape how we respond when we feel lost or broken?
The older brother never physically left, but his heart was distant. Have you ever had a season where you were doing all the 'right' things but still felt spiritually empty or resentful? What was happening in you?"
The story ends with the Father inviting both sons to the feast. What do you think it takes to move from being the younger or older son—to becoming more like the Father in how we love others? What do you think God is inviting us into here?
